For institutional accounts, we may collect entity registration details, licensing information, and regulatory status.

Platform Activity. We collect information about your activity on the Platform, including deal listings you create or view, access requests you submit or receive, documents you upload or access, messages you send or receive, and transaction records.

Technical Information. We automatically collect technical information when you access the Platform, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, and access timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Communications. We collect information you provide when you contact us, submit feedback, or respond to surveys.

4. Information Sharing

With Other Members. Certain information about your institution is visible to other members, including your guild name, guild type, trust score, and general deal activity. Full deal documentation is shared only with counterparties you explicitly approve.

Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or the rights, safety, or property of our members or others.

No Sale of Data. Fence and Ledger does not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect the information we collect. These include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments. While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Audit logs and transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable law and regulation.
